While everyone keeps telling us they are so happy for us, it's getting somewhat disheartening because I'm nearing 3rd trimester and no one has yet to offer giving us a baby shower. 🙁 First no one comes to our reveal, and now no one wants to help us out with a shower. We live 4 hours away from family for work, and it really hurts that the good friends we've made here in Houston are being more self centered on themselves rather than taking a few hours to come to our reveal or even give us a baby shower. We spent our time on weekends watching their kids for them when they have important things to do, and my husband is the handy one that is always there to help them install something or fix something when it breaks. I know I'm hormonal, but when I think about it, it makes me tear up. This is supposed to be an important time in our lives as we welcome our first child into this world, and we don't feel like we are really being supported by anyone but our mothers. 😢
