How to help sore nipples??

My son is 8 months, and he latches right so that's not the problem. He did bite it though so that may be why, but my left side hurts SO BAD. Any ideas how to help the pain (besides ointment) or do I just wait it out?

Following! My daughter is 9 months and sometimes she latches improperly on purpose, it's like her teeth hurt so she's trying to get a more comfortable angle or something. It hurts so bad though!!

Is it red and warm? Is there a puncture mark? Is green oozing from the puncture? Or does it feel more like a bruise?

Salt water rinse after baby nurses. Express breastmilk onto them and let dry and than lather them up with the dr jack nipple cream. You can get it from a prescription from your doctor. Ask for it to have ibuprofen in it. That will help take the sting away when baby is ready to nurse again.

Mine is 13 months and same it got so bad I had to stop and pump that side nipple cream helps been using it after each feeding
