My SO has a female friends that he text...not that I'm upset or jealous about it...he just always text at the WRONG TIME....example....if we're fighting about something...he texts late at nite 2/3 in the morning

The bigger question is what is he texting about? Relationship advice because you had a fight? A female perspective might help him. Or about what a witch you are (not a good sign)

Answer

That's a no go for me. If he has something to say about you he can say it TO YOU. If he needs help figuring out the issue causing you fights he needs to turn to you. Going outside your relationship can cause more harm than good.
