I just shared mine on Facebook yesterday, so I don't find it inappropriate. My friends and family love to see updates on how she's doing.

I personally won't be sharing my ultrasound photos on here (when I become pregnant). I would however share it on fb because we only have friends & family on our fb (Mine & my fiancé). I think if others want to that's fine. They do stand the chance of someone taking their picture & claiming it as their own, but it's like that no matter what if you really think about it. Anyone can steal any picture off the internet (even of you) & say it's them. I think it just comes along with being in the public eye of social media. If you don't like it you probably shouldn't have social media.

If it's not your own ultrasound (like your sister gave you a copy but wants to keep it all private for now), then yeah it's inappropriate to be posting it online or sharing it with other people.
If it's yours or you were given permission to share it, then go for it. Just make sure none of the private medical information is showing if it includes any of that.

I personally don't share pictures on here because I don't actually know anyone on here and so who knows what creeps could be looking on this app (obviously not everyone is, but you never know). I'll post a few here and there on facebook, but that's really it.
