I was due on 12th may however my water broke at 4:30am on Wed April 26th.

Nothing happened after that so I was asked to go to the hospital at 1:30pm if my contractions hadn't started before this point.

We went in and later on that night they gave me gel to help start my contractions. These started around 11pm however the hospital was really busy so didn't get moved to the labour ward until 3am on Thursday 27th, where they put me on a drip to increase my contractions and everything went really fast, managed somehow to do it with just gas & air and at 10:36 am 27th April and her grandads birthday baby Lana Campbell was born weighing 6lbs 4.

We didn't know what we were having but I thought it was a boy so was really surprised that she was a girl.
