opinions about my dog

I'm pregnant and have a 8 month old baby. (Our second pregnancy was a big surprise, because we struggled to get pregnant with our first 2yrs and weren't even trying to get pregnant this time so we're taking this as a huge blessing)

Anyways, I adopted a puppy maybe three weeks ago because I heard he was going to get killed by owner and I got so emotional and  adopted/took him. It seemed easy and loved it but now I'm at high risk pregnancy. I'm 19 weeks pregnant and last weekend I started bleeding badly that I thought I had lost my baby. It turns out my cervix had shortened and I had to have an emergent cerclage. So far the surgery was a success but I have to have bed rest until baby is born. I had to quit my job and quit carrying my baby boy. Now here comes the puppy. He's just like a baby and I don't know if I can manage. I'm getting overwhelmed and sad about all this that I don't know what i should do? Should I give him away or should I talk to the local animal shelter? Don't want to take him back to where I got him, for sure! I just don't know what to do, help please.
