Cervical mucus

So right after my ovulation I have noticed an increase in my cervical mucus but it's more of a Milky creamy. Normally between my ovulation and my period I'm dry. so what does this mean? Any thoughts?

After ovulation progesterone rises which normally brings an increase in creamy cm. If af is coming typically you'll dry up because progesterone will drop

Make sure it's not an infection. I thought mine was normal but turned out to be an infection ( wouldn't harm the babu but needed to be taken care of )
