This is my 4th child, but the only time this has happened to me. Basically I've been having bad swelling, sometimes with putting. Actually I've basically been having symptoms (swelling, headaches, etc) of preeclampsia BUT my blood pressure is perfect so it's definitely not that, nor is it GD. Anywho, I've been having bad swelling, mainly in my fingers but the worst being in my feet/ankles/legs. The other place I'm experiencing swelling is all of my girl parts. I can visibly feel (can't see at this point-34 weeks along) that I'm swollen through my clothing. Near my clitoris and outer labia I've been itchy due to the swelling. And with all the extra blood flow to that region I literally cut myself open when I scratch gently. I've been using wash clothes now to scratch when it's needed (cleaned of course inbetween use). My question is: are any of you lovely ladies having extra blood flow and an itchy sensation? The blood is so close to the surface that even the most gentle wiping after using the restroom causes bleeding. Nothing outrageous and nothing coming from my vagina specifically but still frightening. Am I alone?
