Week late, negative test? Help!

Hi ladies. My cycle is always 28-29 days and I am now a week late (never ever happens!) and I've taken a few tests over the past few days and they've all been super negative. They were cheap Internet ones but should still have worked? A couple days before my period I thought my period was going to happen in fact I kept going to the washroom to check but it didn't show. Those cramps are gone now and my breasts are not sore like they usually are around me period. So I'm wondering if I could be pregnant despite the negative tests? Thanks in advance!
