TTC after the pill :/

Hello ladies! :)

I just got off birth control in March so this is only my second cycle trying to conceive (this time around). My hubby and I have tried in the past, but I just couldn't take the disappointment every time I got a BFN. So I gave up and got on birth control. Here I am now several months later back at it again. Last cycle was a fail and I got do depressed, so I want to make sure my body is in the best shape this month because I don't know if I can handle another BFN this month. Any advice? what did you to to conceive after birth control and how long did it take?
