Flinstone Vitamins as Prenatals?

I tried taking the big pills my doctor prescribed to me , but it's been making me very nauseated lately. I've read that you can take Flinstone Vitamins as a substitute , is that true? & if so, what type of the flinstone Vitamins should I take?

No. Flintstones don't contain folic acid which is the important part of prenatals. Do gummy ones if you can't handle regular ones.

No they are not a substitute. Take a different brand prenatal. I recommend rainbow light which also comes in mini pills.

Whole food based prenatals are a lot easier to digest and are superior to synthetic vitamins. They're the only ones I keep down. I use Mega Food but Rainbow Light, New Chapter, and Garden of Life are all good too.

My doctor said the same thing. I'm pretty sure there are folic acid in them. The regular ones made me so sick when TTC but once I got pregnant the regular ones no longer bothered me.

That's definitely not a good substitute. You need a good, whole prenatal vitamin that offers all of the nutrients baby and you need during your pregnancy.

I use the ines below and if you are having troubles keeping the big pill down, this version is a capsule form. Meaning you can break it open and pour the powder in a drink or smoothie. That way the taste is masked.
