Ultrasounds giving different dates..which one?

Question

I had a dating scan which put my due date as Nov. 19. I was 7w2d (couple weeks ago) Then  yesterday I had another scan...abdominal. the tech measured 3 times and baby was supposed to be 10w5d and was measuring 11w1d. Should I be going by 10w6 days today with due date of Nov 19 or 11w 2d with a due date of Nov. 16? 
Thanks for your input...im so wishing i can get those 3 days ahead....but I understand if it's better to just stick with the first.

I had a very similar experience. My doc said since the dates weren't more than a week apart, they would stick to the first date scan.

Hard to say. My first scan was 6w3d and my doctor said they would measure again at my 10w appointment because it was so early the first time they just want to double check the accuracy of the date based on the size. So given that information I would say the second date is more accurate.

That being said, with my first son the EDD was 11/13 and he was born the 18th. I set a lot of store by the due date with him and ended up very grumpy that he was "late" haha. This bubba man is due 11/12 but I'm just going with "November" so I'm not as cranky 😄

They won't change your dates unless your more than a week off. They allow for 7 day difference since the ultrasound is 100% accurate

My doc goes with what the first scan says, just because (like someone else mentioned) the further along you get the bigger differences you will see.

That being said my first son was 7 days late, so obviously he didn't know when his due date was. Lol. The EDD is just what it says, an Estimated Due Date. No one really knows when your sweet little one with make an appearance. Babies come when they are ready. Don't worry too much about the due date, and try to look forward to the millions of baby kisses you are soon to get 😘

The earlier scan is more accurate! As baby gets further along, you'll see a wide range of dates and more than likely they'll be off by a few days and sometimes week or so.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I just  wasn't sure if I should be changing the apps and what not. I'll check with my midwife in a few weeks but some great info ladies! Thanks again.

They will probably go with the most recent scan as that is actually your dating scan.
