Do you "groom" before a gyno appt?

I've always felt weird going to gyno with any trace of pubic hair, but then my 80 year old gyno told me that I shouldn't shave. I mean I'll always shave because that's just how I am, but when going to the gyno now, I feel like I need to grow it out lol. Anyone else have thoughts/experiences?

Omg!! This happened to me and I was So uncomfortable! It was a younger lady, and she was down there telling me I shouldn't shave "just trim" and this and that. I was like hello!!! You're between my legs right now. Could you have told me in a few minutes?!

Haha today was my first doc appt.. I wasn't expecting a exam.. Just a hey your prego I'm your doc talk... But no.. It was an exam day and I didn't shave my legs or my girly parts.. Thank god I shaved under my arms..

I shower. I trim regularly, but I am not going to do so just for the doctor. Body hair is normal.

Just the usual grooming... Trim everything very short and shave bikini line and legs. I always shower that day too. Don't want any chance of stank!

I usually try to take a bath, just in case I'm sweaty.  Shave? No. Hair is not anything to worry about, no less am I interested in impressing my gyno. But I'm considerate enough not to assault someone's nose.
