The other day I noticed a bald spot on the back of my scalp. It was completely smooth with short stubby hairs all around it. Soon after that I found a couple more of the same patches. Recently I thought my hair was thinning a bit, but never noticed any bald spots. There's no pain, hardly any itching, and no irritation. I am making an appointment with a dermatologist as soon as I can, but I wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts.
