Some say you can test at 10dpo. If you know when you ovulated because you should implant by the 10th day. It would be really faint. I waited until I missed my period

The earliest AND most accurate day is the day you miss your period. The days leading up to your missed period all carry a significant chance of false negative.

Unfortunately, earliest and most accurate don't go together. For me, I got my bfp at 11dpo after getting a negative the day before. It will be different for everyone.
