baby smiles? when do they happen??

Question

Anyone else have a baby born at 37 weeks that isn't smiling frequently yet? My little one smiles on occassion but it's not consistent and I can't tell if she's really smiling or not. It's making me a little worried...
She was born the end of Feb and based on birth date is 9 weeks.

My lovely lady was born at 37 weeks. She's now 8 weeks and hasn't smiled properly yet. They're all different, I'm sure it will happen. It seems me and her dad arent funny enough for her!

My son was born at 38wks. He's now 7wks 2 days and still rarely smiles socially. Every once in a while he'll laugh but nothing like my daughter who was smiling by 4wks. I feel so bad like he's unhappy.

My son was born feb 28 and started smiling consistently at 7 weeks before he only smiled when he was getting ready to spit up for some odd reason now he does it all the time especially when he wakes up in the morning

I had my little one on feb 15th when I was 37 weeks. He smiles pretty frequently now. But you have to remember all babies are different! Give him a little time. Try to enjoy some one-on-one! Maybe with bath time or massages. Your LO will get there. If you're concerned, you can always contact your pediatrician.
