measuring small?!

Question

Went for my glucose test and 28 week appointment today. Doctor says I'm measuring 2 cm small and ordered an US to check baby asap. The soonest I could get in is 2 days from now. So of course I'm fretting about it, This is my 3rd child and I've never experienced this before. Please share if you've gone through this! Thanks!

A 2cm discrepancy is within a normal range. Do not freak out the doctor is only being overly cautious. Make sure you are eating very well with 70+ grams of healthy protein daily and a gallon of water.

Yes my doc also told me 2cm over or under   Is normal so don't stress urself out

My baby was measuring quite small at my 20 week anatomy scan. I had a follow up ultrasound around 24 weeks and the baby had gone through a big growth spurt and was measuring on the very low end, but still within normal range. I am now 31 weeks and measuring 2 cms small as well. My Doctor is not overly concerned and says I will likely just have a small baby. My mom and grandma had small babies too. She did however put me down to part time at work as she doesn't want any added stress on me or the baby, and wants to ensure I'm getting lots of rest. I'm sure everything is fine!! 💕

I went in for an ultrasound at 28 weeks and they said my baby was super small 6% 
Sent me to a specialist and they said no he's 38% he is small but nothing abnormal. Doctors just like to be cautious sometimes. Unfortunately we always think the worst that 3 day wait was horrible
