Ever had this happen to you?

Question

Have you ever been pregnant and needed a spot or maybe your grandparent or another elder needed a seat? I really wonder why the people don't ever bother to let them sit down nowadays or at least move their stuff and make space...
Anyone have a crazy or scary max/train ride story?

I agree, but after I had my back surgery I couldn't stand for many hours at a time and the bumps in busses killed me. I got on a bus to go to my appointmentand it was packed the only seats left we're the ones next to the "reserved disabled seats". I sat in one of the normal seats next to it and a group got on, they took up all the disabled seats, they were not disabled. A lady who was obese got on and made a comment to me that I was inconsiderate that I wouldn't give up my seat to her...when I got off I at my back sergeona office right by the bus stop. She took my seat and told her daughter that people should be more considerate

So it's a double edged sword, people just should be considerate and help if they are able, but there's no use getting all miffed about it

I've actually had good experiences, I got more offers of help when pregnant (in airports or grocery stores, etc.) than in the rest of my life put together. I think a lot depends on where you live. I was mostly in the south or more urban areas, with the exception of a few major airports.

It's because people don't care about others anymore in the world today. Not all people but most just look the other way when they see something wrong. Or they see no one else doing anything so they don't either.

I was 8.5 months pregnant, on the subway. It was packed full!!! There was no available seats, and plenty of people (men, not pregnant women, even kids) not a single one moved or even offered me their spot. An old lady, at least 85 was the ONLY one who got up!!! Crazy! And disrespectful people. Of course even bein pregnant I still felt wrong taking her seat so I kindly declined n told her I was more comfortable standing. ( even though my feet n back were KILLING me. I couldn't do it ) it's ridiculous how much people don't look out for one another anymore
