My son will be 13 months May 6th and ebf. He won't even take bottles when I work night shifts. I have a freezer full of milk for him from pumping while at work. I will be having a procedure on the 10th of May and have to start the prep on the 8th and while doing the prep I can not breastfeed. The first thing he does when he wakes up is lifts my shirt and nurses. How can I distract him and keep him from trying to nurse those three days? I will be pumping and dumping the whole time but I am heartbroken on having to tell him no for three days considering he's not ready to wean and neither am I! Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
