Would you consider waiting a month to ttc in my situation?

So my husbands birthday is in October, mine November and our sons is in December ( the 4th) he is 3 . If we were to ttc again this cycle and were successful the due date would be December 17th. For one that's really close to christmas ( lots of money ! ) and also 2 weeks after my sons birthday. If you were in my shoes what would you do ? We are not flat broke poor but not rich either & christmas time is a tight tight time for us.
