Stretch Marks

I'm a teenage girl and I have stretch marks on my thighs due to weight gain during puberty. I've been very insecure about them for the longest time, leading to me wearing lots of jeans (even though I live in Florida). However, lately I've been confident enough to start wearing short-shorts (you can barely see the marks when I wear shorts, but I'm still worried about other people being disgusted when they see them). I just wanted to know if you guys have any stretch marks as well, and your thoughts on them. It's always nice to know you're not alone.
