Positive Ovulation Test!!!

We have been TTC for a long time now. This was my first month tracking my CM and taking ovulation tests. I checked this morning and I had EWCM so we tried conceiving this morning/afternoon. I had sharp pain on my R pelvic side two hours after we had sex. I took an ovulation test and it was positive!! My SO had to leave for work and won't be back for two weeks. I don't want to get his hopes up by telling him all this just yet. Has anyone been lucky enough to conceive with similar symptoms? We've been trying for 5 years, we are really wanting to have a baby this year. If anyone has any encouraging stories or if you could send positive vibes our way we would really appreciate it!!! :)
