Irregular periods//success stories, tips??

Has anyone here have irregular periods and was still able to get pregnant?

I had irregular periods but doc told me I had mild PCOS. I took a low dose of metformin for two weeks,  it caused me to have a period and ovulate, now I'm five weeks pregnant. Took less than a year to conceive but only weeks after being on the meds.

Mine have always been irregular, the dr put me on birth control to try and help that, I just started month two and then ill see from then if it worked or not, but maybe you could give that a try. My husband and I already tried for over a year before the b.c.
