My son is 4 months. He has been having some blood in his diaper on and off for a while. I cut out dairy for the last 2.5 months. We just had a stool sample, a blood draw for food allergy, and a CBC. They couldn't find the cause. So now they loaded us up with special formula and told me not to breastfeed "for a few days" until we see a GI specialist. He HATES it. I hate it. I drink a coke every day to get me through my sleepy haze. I'm thinking maybe that's it? Has anyone ever had this happen? What was the result? I worked so hard and struggled so much and now it looks like I'll have to formula feed if they don't get this figured out. I'm devastated!
