Does popularity of a name keep you from choosing one you like?

Lauren • Jersey Mama to Faith 💖 Asher 💙 and Hudson 💙
I'm still so confused.  Popularity of names tend to bother me because when I was a kid I had to be one of 3 Laurens growing up and I hated it.  While I do like my name, it was just so annoying growing up.  My daughter's name is Faith and I'm so glad I went with her name because she's almost 7 and still no run ins with another Faith.  When we found out we were having a boy I knew it was going to be hard because I didn't have a huge list of boy names and any I really like are in the top 50-100.  I loved Liam before I knew I was having a girl and still like it but now being so popular I won't consider it.  Other names I liked were Connor, Gavin and Chase but Chase doesn't go with our last name and the middle name is Scott so it will sound too choppy.  I picked Greyson and he's been Greyson since 12 weeks.  I'm now 27 weeks and fiancé still isn't thrilled about the name but when I read a baby boy name list he loves Noah.  I always loved Noah too but because of popularity I didn't consider it.  I do think Noah Scott would be a great name for our son, I just am afraid of the popularity factor.  But if Greyson is just as popular, then maybe we should do Noah?  Help!
