HCG strips - false positive??

HCG strips - has anyone had a false positive pregnancy test from a HCG strip? My husband doesn't believe we are pregnant as they are too cheap! Just been to the shop to get a "proper test" in his words!!!!

I found out I was pregnant with a 2for£1 test. They are just as good as 'proper' ones x
