Amoxicillin and pregnancy?

I went to urgent care today cuz I've been suffering a sinus infection for over a week. They prescribed me amoxicillin. Any ladies have taken this medicine during pregnancy and had no issues?

I had to take it a couple weeks ago. My pharmacist said its one of the safest medications to take while pregnant.

It's one of not too many antibiotics that are OK to take. I personally didn't take it because I am allergic to it, and my doctor actually had a difficult time finding a good alternative antibiotic because amoxicillin is their go-to for pregnant women. (Fortunately he found an alternative in the end.)

Yes it is safe just make sure you take some probiotics afterwards though

Lucky you aren't allergic to it ☺️ it's one of the few safe antibiotics for pregnancy. I am allergic to it and penicillin, so my dr has a hard time figuring out what antibiotic I can take 😣

Thanks ladies I think with all I've read on it and what everyone's saying I'll be okay to take it. Just don't wanna hurt my unborn baby so I'm a little paranoid lol

My dentist just put me on a crap ton of it after getting clearance from my OB. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes I did. I was really sick with a kidney infection when I was pregnant with my daughter. It's totally fine!
