false positives? can someone actually help and not just view??

I took a clear blue yesterday and got what I thought was a clear positive, later that day I decided to retest to confirm, but the second test was clearly negative.. has this happened to you what was the final result? Af due in 7 days.

7 days before AF is due is very early to test. Your urine might have been too diluted when you took the second test..

I used 5 different tests when I got my positive and the ONLY one that showed negative was the dollar store one . It was positive two days after but sometimes they require more hcg hormone take a first response!

I had a positive with a blue dye. The next morning I took another test and it was negative. I decided to get blood work done to know for sure and it was definitely negative. Was heart broken because I was excited to see the positive and everyone said no such thing as a false positive, but I got one... Use a pink dye or get blood work is my advice. I hope it works out and it wasn't a false positive for you.

How many DPO are you. Maybe you tested a bit early. Try again in a few days and see. All the best

Yes it happened to me! I actually got a positive on the cheapy test and then all negatives. Could of been a chemical pregnancy. Could of been a faulty test. Could of been a crazy quick evap line who knows! These tests make me nervous. I'll wait it out and use a digital next time.
