so i got the birth control called the Nuvaring. you stick it up from vag to help prevent pregnancy.... im having trouble putting it inside me so i told my boyfriend to put the ring in me but he refuses 😒 what am i suppose to do since he doesn't care to help me out

Yeah he's your boyfriend and should help you but this is was of those things you should learn to do yourself if you're going to continue to use this birth control

I wouldnt want to do that for someone else either lol that's something you need to learn how to do yourself. I dont personally know how they are inserted but I imagine squatting/sitting should help. Read the instructions and try to relax.

I had NUVAring a few years back, pinch the sides together & insert it like you would a tampon. Try sitting on the toilet when you do it. Being relaxed is key because if you're not relaxed you vagina will want to "reject" it. But also be cautious when having sex with it because it can come out. You don't have to stop immediately & put it back in but when you finish rinse it off with COLD water & put it back. Hopes this helps you
