Embracing the natural me
I'm going out on a limb here while I feel ok about myself.
My partner was looking through the pics we took of our daughter today on my phone, he then asked me why I had taken this selfie. I never leave the house without a full face of heavy makeup. I need makeup to feel pretty, it's been that way since I was 13 and yet today, I realised I'm finally comfortable in my own skin. It's only taken me 28 years and to have my daughter to realise that natural me is ok. I hope this feeling lasts.
