PCOS, who has it?

If you have pcos what symptoms do you have? What's your story? I feel like I might have it. Haven't been able to get pregnant for a year and a month now. But I would like to hear about your guys PCOS story to see if I can relate at all.

I have PCOS! Long story short, I thought I'd never have a baby...tried for years, I never ovulated. Dr prescribed me metformin and clomid. Even with 50 and 100 MG of clomid, I didn't ovulate. I cried at the last appt when they told me we would try one more round this time 150). I was so positive it would never happen.

Next month, blood test showed I ovulated. Still wasn't expecting anything, because duh, I can't get pregnant. 2 weeks later, I was staring at my first positive pregnancy test ever. Scared as shit, heart racing. Took 14 more tests over the next two weeks.

I ended up with gestational diabetes (diagnosed super early bc the PCOS). C section at 38+5. But I got him...my perfect little boy. He just turned 8 months. I'm almost 33 now and we will be trying again this summer.

Hi! I just got diagnosed this January. I was on birth control for 7 or 8 years. When I got off I had my normal withdraw period then another short period 25 days later then went months without another one. My doctor ran blood tests and did an ultrasound and confirmed I had pcos. I wasn't ovulating so my period never came. I got prescribed metformin due to my insulin being slightly elevated (part of pcos for some people). Two months later my insulin levels were cut in half so she prescribed Provera to induce a period and clomid to take cd 3-7 to make me ovulate. Currently cd 11 of that cycle! Hoping I ovulate from the clomid. It's been a long journey but I honestly wasn't that upset with the diagnosis. I was happy I had some answers as to why I wasn't having a period! My doctor said pcos is the "easiest infertility issue" and that we shouldn't worry that we won't get pregnant.

I have pcos and I was diagnosed with it 9 years ago. The symptoms vary and are different for everyone but some of the symptoms are, being overweight, dark patches under your armpits, neck, or by groin area. Acne,male tattered baldness, excessive facial hair, depression, irregular heavy periods. Those are most of the symptoms but not everyone has it. I have some of the symptoms but not all of them and I know with exercise it increases your chance of pregnancy if you lose 10% body fat. I have a two year old and another baby on the way.there is no cure for pcos but you can manage it with meds or living a healthy lifestyle.

I have a 2 year old son, my cycles were always regular until last november when my cycle was 50 days. My ob diagnosed me with pcos. My cycles are fairly regular (31-36 days) but i'm a little overweight, ovarian cysts and acne. I also dont ovulate on my own

Diagnosed about 9 yrs ago.  Weight gain, unable to lose the weight, lack of energy, depression, fall asleep after exercise, long cycles which varied from 30 to 50 ish days, excess hair, acne..... also just diagnosed with insulin resistance which sometimes goes hand in hand with pCOS. Just started Metformin which will hopfully help.

PCOS have many symptoms! When I was diagnosed I could literally go 3 months without a period! I also had some cysts on my ovaries! And I certainly gained weight from having PCOS, try to be positive and ONLY way to know 100% is have a Doctor check! I also get severe twitches now and then in my ovaries, BUT everyone has different symptoms

I have PCOS, diagnosed 3 years ago after coming off the pill. Had irregular periods and then was also diagnosed with a dermoid cyst on one ovary. Had to have that ovary removed. After my surgery my cycles became super regular, and I have. I other PCOS symptoms. I seem to be showing all the signs of ovulation (temp spike, positive OPK's). Have been TTC for 3 months now.... just ovulated few days ago I think so fingers crossed 😆
