So this entire process has been literally to the book/calendar that our doc office gave us for the cycle. Minimal side effects of the birth control and the hormones. Great egg retrieval and 7 perfect embryos. The worst part was the last 5 days since the retrieval since I've been bloated and a bit sore. I did also gain 5 pounds due to eating comfort food and very low activity since I've been relaxing and taking things easy. Hubby and I are closer too. Did the five day fresh embryo transfer this morning. Family and friends are positive and excited. I had a moment yesterday that helped me truly believe that after the struggle that this embryo can/will be sticky and will have a baby, or two.... But in the back of my mind I'm trying not to have expectations/get excited. Anyone feel me?
