When is a good time to check for cm?

I know it's a silly question, but I'm just starting out with learning how to check for cm, and wonder when are good times of the day to check. I also still trying to get a good feel if my cervix is high or low and if it's soft or hard. I check earlier and I really couldn't tell, and my fertile days are near so some tips would be helpful.

It can be a little tricky at first but eventually you'll get an understanding of what is normal for you. You should check your cm several times a day. I find it easiest to just do it every time I go to the bathroom. If you notice more than one type, record your most fertile type of the day in your chart. It goes dry-sticky-creamy-watery-egg white.

Cervix position only needs to be checked once a day but should be checked around the same time each day and in the same position. This is because it can vary quite a bit throughout the day. For me it tends to be higher in the morning so I like to check mine after lunch when it is a little easier to reach. Also the opening will often be towards your rear except when you are really close to ovulating and may be off to one side or the other.
