how soon did all the mummies get their periods after having a baby?

How soon did your period return (particularly keen to hear from you if you exclusively breastfed) after having a baby? 
And how heavy was it? Was it lighter than usual? Different to before or all normal as far as you were concerned?

I have bf twice and the entire time I was feeding, I did not have a period. It came back within a month of stopping feeding though, spotty at first (but warning you- PAINFUL cramping) .

It's been a while now but I'm sure it was around 6 months after for me...I ebf and it was pretty much a normal period for me (heavy).

7.5 weeks pp, ebf. Was way lighter than usual. Since then they have been a more normal flow, and my cycles have been in the 30-35 day range, when before they were 26-29.

I never got my period while breast feeding with both of mine. Would get it 6 weeks after I stopped feeding.

Not the situation your in but after losing our daughter at 21+weeks in December 2015 she was still born. I bleed for about 2weeks after losing her and then got my period 3 weeks after my bleeding stopped.

Unfortunately we have just lost our son at 24+weeks on the 20/04/2017 he was still born to.  I bleed for two weeks this time but it was much lighter then last time but I'm now counting down the days till my period comes back.
