When did you figure out what you want to do with your life?

Question

I am 24. I got my GED at 16. I got married at 22 (love him still) I've been to college twice dropping out both times. I keep going from pointless job to job. I also never got my license. Diagnosed pcos at young age so no babies.

Has anyone had this problem? I just don't know what I want to do with my life or who I want to be. I don't know my dream job yet. Is that bad at my age? Like I feel stuck. Not moving forward with life. Almost like I mentally haven't grown up yet.

Advice would be great! Thanks.

I'm 31 and finally feel complete, like totally and utterly complete .  I graduated high school,  worked super hard for my bachelor's,  ended up not liking the field i had chosen...went to cosmetology school,  worked as a stylist for a decade and still felt a bit unfulfilled 
 . In the last couple of years we've expanded our family and decided financially and emotionally it worked better for us for me to be a stay at home mother.  I love love love it. Being a wife and mother has made me the happiest most complete woman. .. I felt so much pressure (societal) to work and so many other women down talked "depending on a man " , but I'm able to make money with an in home salon and I wish I had done all of this earlier.  Point is I was in my late 20s before I actually felt whole and truly happy . Once I decided the path I wanted and said screw everyone else only then i. Found who I was.  I'll always be the d.c.f worker,  hair stylist,  mother and wife. 
But for today im happy to have condensed my life and focus a bit .

I'm 22 and still have no idea. I work sitting with elderly people and I clean houses. I have been to school for a certificate in both phlebotomy and medical assistant, I have had opportunities to make really good money but I am not happy doing that. I thought medical field would be for me (it is interesting to learn it) but I don't have a passion for it. I don't know I figured by now I would have been married, with some babies and a loving home.   I still feel lost at 22 wondering what I need to do with my life.

Im 24. I went through high school and college not knowing what i wanted to do. I had an interest in engineering design but no real goals, so i majored in mechanical engineering. I had to drop out so, broken hearted, i chose the first thing i could graduate with. I am antisocial so i never networked or joined clubs or had many friends. I worked minimum wage for a year and a half until the place i worked at literally burned down. Before it burned down i was constantly depressed about my future and felt like i was going absolutely nowhere. I was a loser with no motivation, no goals. I had tried to look for other work but was constantly stressed and anxious. My work burning down was the best thing to happen to me. I immediately felt a burden off my shoulders and started looking for a job. One thing i did right in college was choose classes that taught me practical workforce skills. On Wednesday i start my new job, my first professional job in the engineering design field. I dont know how its going to go or if i will like it or if i will be good at it, but im excited and I look forward to finding out. I honestly cant believe I landed a job in a field that i was interested in 6 years ago. I didnt think i had a chance.
I know it is hard. Believe me. Its really hard. You have to keep moving forward. You have to keep trying. If youre not moving forward in life, youre not going to get anywhere. You have to make yourself uncomfortable. You have to push yourself to do more and try different things.
My boyfriend also went looking for a job around the same time i did bc he felt he had done all he could in the company he was with and didnt like working there anymore. He took a chance and applied to jobs even if he had no experience in and wasnt qualified for them. The company that hired him was looking for ceritified people and only one trainee and somehow he got the job as a trainee. Hes now going to be making way more than he was before, both of us are actually.

I don't think that's bad at all. At 24 I had finished college but was working high school level pointless job to job as well. Nothing stuck and made me happy. On the side I started my own business (on Etsy). Maybe that may be an option for you? Not neccesarily Etsy but something where you're your own boss and have a passion for.

I'm 22, struggled through highshool but I did finish a year behind. I'm married, own a home, have a two year old son, 16w3d pregnant, and I feel complete. I stay at home with our son. I want to do an online college but scared I will fail at it. My husband was great in school and college (he's 26) got an advanced diploma and has his business management degree and is a manager at Lowe's Home Improvement. I feel like he is so successful and then here I am. I'm so indecisive but I can say I'm lucky to have nothing but support from my husband with whatever I want to do which is the only reason I can say I feel complete right now.
