Chacos Sandals

Anyone have a pair of these? I seriously use to think it was just a trend and was like gosh why do people wear those ugly things!! But I've heard many many benefits from them! So my question is do they help you & in what way? They're so expensive for sandals I just want to make sure I'm making a smart choice. I'm hoping it helps give me some support at least a little because walking in flat old navy flip flops is kiiillllinnggg meee and with my spine all out of wack and putting pressure when I walk I really hope I can't find something to help at least a little!
