Have anyone ever been hospitalized for having an UTI during pregnancy?

I had a UTI turned kidney infection I spent 2 days in the hospital plus two following trips lasting 12 to 18 hours because my meds made me horribly sick. I was completely unable to eat or drink and when I did, couldn't keep it down. I was 22 weeks.

I think they just want to make sure it doesn't travel up into your kidneys while pregnant . At hospital they can give you antibiotics through IV . However this would only be the case if you were peeing blood other wise idk why you would ever want to go to the hospital lol

After I had my first daughter I was running a fever and no matter how much medicine I took I could not regulate my body temperature I went to the hospital and they told me I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection and had it not been treated when it was it could have killed me I was also hospitalized when I was pregnant with my oldest son for kidney stones

I was not hospitalized but the antibiotics they gave me almost made me go there. I had a yeast infection and a UTI, and I'm not sure what medicine did it, but I felt horrible. I couldn't keep food or drinks down, had diaherria, I was so tired, had a terrible migraine, and started a fever. Luckily after the 3 day course of the medicine t stopped, but it was horrible.

Last time i was pregnant i had them 24/7 but I couldn't help it where I would sleep so good I didn't know I had to pee

My sister in law was hospitalized with an bad uti. She has kidney stones, horrible back pain and fever going up and down. She's 28 weeks pregnant they can't do surgery until she have the baby. She's taking antibodies. But nothing isn't stopping the pain. Please pray for my sister in law and her finance..thank you!!

I was diagnosed with a uti and the doctor asked me if I wanted to be admitted to the hospital. Well, no, I didn't. Lol so he gave me an antibiotic and sent me home. Not sure why he gave me the option to stay or go.
