Calculating dpo

Hey all, wondering how exactly you calculate how many DPO? I got a positive opk on the 18th, does this mean I ovulated that day or the next? I know the tests say 12-24 hours. How would you calculate this? Thanks! 2nd month TTC, MC April 2 and hoping for my rainbow baby! ?
