Minipill? IUD?

I'm breastfeeding and I'm looking into getting in birth control. I had the mirena iud and I didn't like it. I'm looking into the mini pill or a different iud... not the mirena. Suggestions? What works for you?

I'm on the mini pill and I like it because I've noticed no side effects and no change in my milk supply.

I have the the IUD paraguard. Love it. Last for 10 years no hormones so it doesn't mess with cycles. No side effects. I love it

The only thing with the mini pill is that you need to take it at exactly the same time everyday. Miss one day and you can get pregnant. Does not matter how long you have been taking it.

I took the mini pill and breastfed my first for 13 months and continued it for 4 years. Now I'm breastfeeding my second for 5.5 months so far and no issues ever! I like it personally!

I have Paraguard, which is the non hormonal IUD, and I love it. I just started having periods again, so I've only had one, but it was normal.

I got the paragard put it in March 20th and so far the benefits outweight the negatives. Ive only had 1 period on it so far and it was heavier and longer than what im used to and it has also made me randomly spot throughout but i like that its basically effortless protection plus theres no user error to worry about.
