So I'm a first time mom. Due May 13th I'm 39+3 weeks. Last Monday I went in for a no stress test and during the test the nurse came in and asked me how I was feeling because I was apparently having contractions every 2-3 minutes. I was shocked because I didn't feel them. I was there for another couple of hours and was still having contractions every 2-3 minutes. I eventually started to feel a little tightening and period like cramps but it didn't hurt. The midwife checked me and said I was 4 cm dialated. I told her that I still didn't feel anything. So she gave us the option to go home. I had contractions this last Saturday that were on and off still not very painful and this morning I'm cramping. Has anyone else been through this? I'm worried that I won't know if I'm in labor if my contractions are so close together in time Any input or advice on my situation? I just don't know what to expect.
