pimple, or spider bite?

So this weekend i changed my shirt and when I looked down I realized I had this. I'm not sure how exactly I got it, it doesn't hurt but it looks gross. Is it a pimple? Or did I get bit by something?

My mom is an ER nurse and I'm almost done with my nursing degree and they have people come in for "spider bites" all the time and most of the time it's not. Her motto is "unless you watched the spider bite you, it's most likely not." You know it happens in some cases, but if it is a bite, it's not black or bruised so you should be fine. I'd still go to your normal doctor or dermatologist to make sure it's not cellulitis or anything like that. But I really would not worry.

It looks like an old popped pimple where the scab got irritated at the edges and bled. That's not new or recent, put some bacitracin or Neosporin on it and a band aid to protect it while healing. If it doesn't heal in a couple days, or at least drastically shrink in size, see a dermatologist.

That definitely looks like a bite! If it gets hot and red and more inflamed I would probably get it looked at, that doesn't seem very pleasant!
