Please Help me, am I over reacting?! Be Honest 👍🏼

 Okay this may be a rant but I'm honestly asking for advice because I don't have no one to really vent too but my boyfriend's mom & him (I live a private life). Ever since I got with my boyfriend; I've always been fashion forwarded. I finally meet his mom, and she would always say smart comments to me like "why are you always dressed like your going to the ball", I was kind of takin back by it because I seen myself as nicely dressed (casual dress, or jeans with a nice blouse). I finally got the balls to ask her why she would say that to me, and she admitted that the way I dressed made her feel like a rag doll. I was shock hearing that from my boyfriend's mom, I'm 26, young and I dress well for my age. I also just found out I'm pregnant and I love dresses, she basically made it seem like pregnancy should be innocent and not a fashion show. Am I over reacting?! I honestly am excited for bodycon pregnancy dresses and adorable fit & flares. Thanks ladies!
