Heat rash, baby acne or eczema? Poor little guy is 5.5 weeks old. Nothing else seems to be wrong with him.

My son has the exact same thing! But I have no idea what it is and if I should take him to see the doctor 😳

My son has it on both cheeks. The redness dried off in a light brown patch of skin and flaked off on one side to reveal normal skin. The advice nurse said it could be heat rash. It's 75-80 degrees where I live and to dress my son in cooler clothes. I took him out of the long sleeve onesies and he's now in a tshirt and diaper.

His doctor saw the same pic and rec a medicine called Mupirocin but unfortunately didn't give me a diagnosis in the email.

Since the one side got better I'm going to wait a day to see if it gets better on both cheeks before applying the medicine.
