How do you wash poo diapers?

I have a sprayer attached to my toilet that I use to rinse off the poopy diapers. By the time I'm done they are just like pee diapers.

Your wash routine really depends on your washer. An admin helped me form mine, and it's been great for the past 17months we been using cloth. Fluffloveuniversity.com and the fb group Fluff Love & CD Science are both great places to learn and ask for help.

My wash routine is as followed:

1. In a 5 gallen bucket in the tub, I use our detatchable shower head to spray off any poopy diapers. Every so often as needed (usually after 3 or 4 diapers) I dump the bucket in the toilet and continue on.

2. Prewash set up. I put line 2- 1/2 scoop of Tide Original Powder in the bottom of thw washer, add my diapers (for my washer, it has to be enough for a small or medium load- due to my short agitator, a large load of diapers would not be cleaned properly). I always do a medium load size. I set my washer controls to  Heavy Duty, Cold water (you can use warm or hot, but they set in stains so I try to avoid them. If you choose a plant based detergent, then you have to use hot water always) Medium Load, Heavy Soil.

3. Main Wash. After the prewash is done, I peel all the diapers from the drum and add a full scoop (usually a bit overflowing) of Tide Original Powder. My washer doesn't fill until you push start, so usually wait until it's filled and use the designated ruler I keep by the washer, to make sure I have at most 5inches of space. If the water reaches past 5, I'll throw some small baby clothws or small wash cloths in to get the load properly bulked without overfilling (Overfilling the washer with diapers will result in poor agitation, which then they will not get properly washed).
I set my washer controls to  Heavy Duty, Cold water, Medium Load, Heavy Soil.

4. After the mainwash is done, I throw everything in the dryer on more dry, high heat. I usually have to run my dryer twice as most of my diapers are natural fiber which tends to take longer to dry.

Well you need to rinse off as much of the poop as possible before washing. I combine my pee and poo diapers... I wash them on a cold rinse, no detergent, then on the hottest and heavy load with detergent and then hang dry them

Prewash has on cold, quick wash no detergent. Main wash heavy duty, longest cycle, hot water, full scoop of detergent(make sure you fluff the diapers up and pull them off the drum before this cycle). Add an extra rinse. Dry in the sun if any staining.

With my first (and with this next one) I used the dunk and swish method in the toilet but most of the diapers I use have doublers for extra absorbacy so I am really just rinsing that and not the entire diaper.  I put them in the wet bag with the rest, usually washing every 2-3 days.  Cold water rinse with a bit of oxyclean first.  Hot wash next with tide original powder.  Extra rinse at the end.  That's it :).

I rinse off as much poop as possible with cold water (im exclusivly bf so poop is pretty soluble atm) then leave it wet n chuck it in the bucket. Wet ones go in the bucket dry.

I wash them every 2nd-3rd day. (Dont have a massive collection yet so depends how many i get thru! Once i have more will wash every 3-4days!)

Wash on 60deg cotton cycle with correct amount of non bio powder & a scoop of miofresh (nappy cleanser) then do a rinse cycle after to make sure they r sud free! Then put them on airer to dry!

I rinse poop diapers right after they happen. I have a bucket that I put in the tub and rinse the liner and diaper in, then I dump the dirty water into the toilet. I then let them dry out in the tub until wash day.

On wash day I rinse everything in cold water, then wash on warm. I use tide and set my washer to super load and super wash for heavily soiled items.

Spray off the poo from the microfiber liner, and diaper if needed squeeze out sprayed items place in wash tub until next load. Wash 1 time heavy on hot with tide line 3 wash 2nd time on normal warm tide line 2 (we have HE machine and hard water) no extra rinse, tumble dry normal
