what to pack in a hospital bag for the baby

i'm a first time mom, and was wanting EVERYBODYS advice on what to pack and how many.

(my baby boy is due august 16th) & right now i have 3 pairs of pants, 3 body suits, 4 sleepers, socks, hats, mittens, receiving blanket, fleece blanket, a paci, and a baby security blanket packed!

For baby, only his going home outfit, a blanket since hospital normally chilly one receiving blanket and a pacifier for ride home. Everything needed for care my hospital provided the entire time.

If you aren't planning on breastfeeding I would pack some bottles, pacis (if you are wanting to use them) and formula. Some hospitals are getting away from providing formula and pacis and are trying to encourage breastfeeding.

That's plenty for baby. The hospital will have everything baby needs.
