anyone else have a hair grabber?

I love DD to death but man could I do without her grabbing my hair. She has the uncanny ability to grab the painful chunk right behind my ears and get her fingers completely tangled in it. I know she finds comfort in it but it hurts!

Just gonna add that I play with my own hair to deal with anxiety sometimes so a short style isn't for me. I know I can put it up too. Not really looking for advice as much as looking for commiserators

My daughter hasn't really started yet but my 5yo was aweful when he was a baby! He constantly had to have a chunk of my hair in his hands. He would get a hand fun and rub the ends all over his face, up his nose and chew on it. It was a major comfort for him but dang did it hurt lol

When my sister was a baby her self soothing consisted of sucking her thumb and playing with my mom's hair. My daughter does both of those things

Even when I put my hair up, my son still grabs at the short hairs that aren't quite long enough to go into the hair band. He's 4 months and I know he's been doing this now for at least 6 weeks- I know it really does hurt!
