Ladies who have gotten married!!! Ring question!!

I'm having a huge wedding in September and I've been getting mixed answers about this! Do you take off your engagement ring? Also does the wedding band go on the bottom or top of the engagement ring? So many people do it differently what did you do? Is there really a right or wrong way?
