Nurse before solids question

Well my baby is showing all the signs that shes ready for solids. We're going to be combining the nourishing traditions and BLW... but I have a silly question... I know for the first year you're supposed to offer breast before solids. My LO nurses before each nap and twice before bed... so does this mean I give her solids when she wakes up from her first nap and the nap around dinner time? I know to nurse on demand but my baby has issues with nursing... she will only take a full feed when her eyes are closed before a nap, or recently I can bounce on a ball but she'll only nurse before a nap so... sorry this is rambling but I just want to make sure I'm doing it all right. Yes i will ask when I see her pediatrician on Thursday but I trust the wise moms here too ;)
