If I learned anything from my days in middle school and high school - it's that you need to take chances and be forward. There was this girl that I had a massive massive crush on. I was too shy to tell her, so I waited for her to ask me out (which never happened) I track her down years later... and it turns out she also had a huge crush on me but was also too shy. She is now married. Opportunity gone. If I had just sucked it up and told her... we might be the ones married right now.

Life is too short to wait on someone else. You just gotta do it. The worst they can say is no - but at least you didn't waste an opportunity. Go for it, girl.

I pretty much asked my partner out 😂
I asked him if he'd like to come round and watch a film or something and he asked why and I replied with "because I like you... In that way" haha
