Lambskin Condoms??!

Question

Ok, so after a pregnancy scare last month, my bf and I agreed on contraception. I'm sort of anti-birth control pills (blood clots etc) AND I'm allergic to Latex condoms. I'd heard great reviews about lambskin condoms so decided to use them last Thurs. I had mild irritation since then and concluded today that I may have a yeast inflection SMH! This is the very reason I can't use latex, now I can't use lambskin? Though he's great at "pulling out" I just wanna prevent any slip ups. Help?

Well birth control pills are not so bad. Those risks are very low, PLUS they reduce your risks for ovarian cancer much more dramatically. But you might want to consider an IUD. I have one and love it. It has no estrogen so I don't have the side effects I did with the pill. Plus there is a nonhormonal one as well! They're crazy effective.

You're right to be using contraception now. Even with a game pull out, the risks are still so much higher than with added contraception!

Ever think of using a copper IUD? I've never had one, but from what I understand they aren't hormonal so you don't have to worry about blood clots and such (the same reason I stopped my bc) and they're supposed to be very effective. Maybe look into it?

I have a latex allergy and the only ones I can use are Mates Skyns. They are the only one that don't cause me any irritation!

You may be interested in the NuvaRing! I have it and love it. There are hormones in it, but extremely low levels. It's also super easy to use and very effective! I'd definitely recommend looking into it. Been on it for about 5 months now. 😊
